The Cadillac Three Reflect On Grand Ole Opry Debut

the_cadillac_threeThe Cadillac Three made their Grand Ole Opry debut just a few months ago, and it’s one of those moments in their career they won’t ever forget. All three guys are Nashville natives, and Jaren Johnston actually grew up around the Opry because his dad, Jerry Ray Johnston, has been a drummer in the Opry house band for 23 years.

Thinking back to the night of their debut, Jaren says, “It was very special. We had family and family’s family and family’s family’s family. I was one of those nights, you know, comin’ off stage and huggin’ my dad, ‘cause he plays there. It was cool. He had the night off and I took the reins, so it was pretty cool.”

Kelby Ray agrees and says, “Growing up, that’s just a part of being from (Nashville) and it was just really cool to finally be a part of that. And them askin’ us to do it, it was really special.”

The Cadillac Three is wrapping up 2014 promoting their latest single, “Party Like You” and playing a few of their own tour dates, after having just wrapped up the Days of Gold Tour with Jake Owen last month.
