Columbia police equipped with naloxone

Columbia police officers now have a new tool to fight the opioid epidemic. Seventy-five kits containing the overdose reversal medication naloxone were issued this week. Officers have been training the last few months on how to use the nasal spray. Columbia Fire has administered 21 doses of naloxone this year.
