ABC/Image Group LA As Florida Georgia Line works on their fourth studio album and prepares to open a new creative complex in Nashville, Tyler Hubbard has another major project in the works: He and his wife Hayley are preparing to welcome their firstborn any day now.
Though the two were initially told they were having a boy, Tyler tells ABC Radio he’s now really looking forward to having a daughter.
“We’re both so, so excited, especially Hayley,” he says. “I think it’s gonna be amazing to have a little mini-Hayley running around the house. So, you know, I’m prepared to become very, very soft. I know that’s gonna happen,” he smiles.
But Tyler admits he’s going to try not to be a total pushover when it comes to his little girl.
“I’m still gonna, you know, try to be a good disciplinarian and all that good stuff,” he adds. “But we’re excited. December 20 couldn’t get here fast enough. So we can’t wait.”
Tyler and his musical partner Brian Kelley are set to perform on the Hollywood portion of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018. You can watch for FGL starting at 8 p.m. ET Sunday, December 31 on ABC.
