(NEW YORK) -- Seems like everyone is excited about the Avengers: Infinity War trailer released Wednesday.
On Tuesday afternoon Marvel Studios tweeted that the trailer had been viewed 230 million times in 24 hours, on all platforms -- which, the studio says, is a record.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the trailer for It was the previous record holder with 197 million views in 24 hours.
Infinity War -- which features pretty much all the superheroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe teaming up to fight Josh Brolin's Thanos who is trying to gather five "infinity stones" which together will give him the power to rule the universe -- arrives May 4 from Marvel Studios and Disney, parent company of ABC News.
