"I plan on having a hell of a good time!": Why Chris Young is "Losing Sleep"

ABC/Image Group LA Chris Young’s 2018 World Tour may be named Losing Sleep, but the Tennessee native isn’t staying up at night worrying about his opening acts.

“You know, obviously we were out with Kane Brown on the Jason Aldean tour,” Chris explains, “so I got to know all of his camp, all of his guys. I’ve gotten to know the LANCO guys because they’ve opened for me over the past several years, just on random shows. Everybody likes everybody, all of their music is insane, their shows are great.”

As the name at the top of the bill, Chris wants to make sure a good time is had by all.

“For me, I want it to be top-to-bottom a great experience,” he says. “I want everybody that’s opening on this tour to have as much fun as I do. And I plan on having a hell of a good time!”

So far, everything seems to be working out just as Chris had hoped. His opening-weekend shows in Indianapolis, Kansas City and St. Louis were all sell-outs, just as the tour’s namesake single, “Losing Sleep,” climbed into country’s top five.

This week, Chris, Kane and LANCO play Cincinnati, Grand Rapids and Chicago.
