"Season Change" to gold for Scotty McCreery

Triple TigersScotty McCreery recently made his very first trip to the top of the country singles chart, and now he’s getting the heavy metal to match.

“Received my GOLD certification plaque for my #1 hit ‘Five More Minutes’ the other night,” the American Idol winner tweeted, along with a photo taken backstage at his Monday show at New York City’s Gramercy Theatre.

Seasons Change, Scotty’s new album, came out last Friday. It features his new song, “This Is It,” which was inspired by his engagement and upcoming marriage to longtime girlfriend Gabi Dugal.
