Granger Smith to perform on "The Bachelorette"

ABC/Image Group LAGranger Smith is taking his music to television during the current season of The Bachelorette. The country singer is set to serenade the newest Bachelorette, Becca Kufrin, during a one-on-one date for an upcoming episode that airs on June 18 at 8/7c on ABC.

While Becca is joined by one of the men vying for her affection, Granger will bring the romance to the room with his recent single, “Happens Like That.” The sentimental love ballad was inspired by the singer’s own personal story with his wife and is sure to light a spark during the episode.

Granger penned “Happens Like That” with Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard, Justin Wilson and Andy Albert. It’s featured on his latest album, 2017’s When the Good Guys Win.

The singer shared his enthusiasm to be sharing the song on The Bachelorette with fans on Instagram.  “Super excited to announce that I’ll be performing on an upcoming episode of the @BacheloretteABC with Becca and her date!” he captions a brief clip. “Y’all tune in on Monday June 18 to watch! #TheBachelorette 

The Bachelorette is currently in its 14th season. The new season premiered May 28 on ABC.
