Watch Old Dominion cover Garth Brooks at the Wildhorse back in 2010

ABC/Mark LevineIf you’d like to hear what Old Dominion sounded like back in the days when they were just a bunch of songwriters playing in a bar in downtown Nashville, all you need to do is check out their socials.

The reigning ACM Vocal Group of the Year shared a clip from nearly a decade ago, captured as they covered Garth Brooks’ 1993 #1, “That Summer.” A lone couple two-steps on the dance floor at Music City’s Wildhorse Saloon.

“This is us in 2010,” the band tweeted. “Jamming our favorite Garth Brooks tune to a crowd of 2 whole people at the Wildhorse Saloon. What a crazy ride we have been on…”

OD’s debut album, Meat & Candy, came out in 2015, and it spun off a string of chart-topping singles, starting with their first release, “Break Up with Him.” Since then, “Song for Another Time,” “No Such Thing as a Broken Heart,” and “Written in the Sand” have all gone to #1.

The band’s latest hit, “Hotel Key,” just broke into country’s top 10.
