How Dylan Scott’s one-year-old Beckett is already following in the footsteps of his dad

Brittany Wilson Dylan Scott‘s son Beckett celebrated his first birthday on December 12, and the “My Girl” hitmaker says his little boy is already taking after his dad.

“Man, Beckett — he’s a mess! He really is,” Dylan tells ABC Radio. “He’s very aware. He’s very aware and knows what’s up and gets really excited and makes these crazy faces, which he gets from me.”

“People say I have creepy-looking facial expressions every now and then,” Dylan goes on, “but he gets it from me. But he’s awesome, man. Crawling around.”

The Louisiana native admits he can’t wait to experience the holiday with his one-year-old.

“First Christmas with him, and…he knows what’s up,” Dylan says. “He knows what’s going on. So he gets excited over toys and other people getting excited, so it’ll be really fun to see his reactions.”
