ABC/Image Group LACarly Pearce is getting closer to finishing her sophomore album.
With its debut single, “Closer to You,” catching on at country radio, the “Every Little Thing” hitmaker is hard at work on the rest of her record.
“Last day of writing this week then studio to work on CP2 tomorrow,” she tweeted on Wednesday. “If y’all only knew how excited I am to share this new chapter & these songs with you.”
On January 24, Carly kicks off The Way Back Tour with Russell Dickerson in Cleveland, Ohio, with more big news about her 2019 touring plans expected next week.
Another big event on the horizon for Carly: her wedding to Michael Ray, to whom she just became engaged over the holidays. So far, the pair hasn’t revealed their timeline for that.
