ABC/Image Group LALuke Combs sets a record this week as his fifth career single, “Beautiful Crazy,” becomes his fifth number one in a row.
That makes him the first artist ever to send his first five releases to the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay tally since the chart first launched back in January of 1990.
“Beautiful Crazy” follows Luke’s previous chart toppers “She Got the Best of Me,” “One Number Away,” “When It Rains It Pours,” and “Hurricane.”
Luke passes some pretty impresses company as he marks this new milestone: Both Florida Georgia Line and Brooks & Dunn made it to #1 with their first four singles.
