ABC/Image Group LASeven-time nominees Dan + Shay are set to perform on next week’s Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.
Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney will team up with pop star Tori Kelly, who previously scored a country hit with “Take Back Home Girl” with Chris Lane.
This year, Dan and Shay are not only competing in the country categories, but they’re also up for the all-genre Top Duo/Group honor and the Billboard Chart Achievement Award as well.
In the country field, they’ll vie for Top Country Artist, Top Country Duo/Group, and Top Country Album for their latest, self-titled effort. They also have two chances to win in the Top Country Song category, since both “Tequila” and “Speechless” are nominated.
Dan + Shay join an impressive line-up of performers, which include Madonna, Mariah Carey, Jonas Brothers, host Kelly Clarkson, and more. You can tune in to watch Wednesday, May 1 starting at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
