Mizzou freshman enrollment up 16 percent

The enrollment numbers are looking up at Mizzou. The school says 5,459 freshmen started classes Monday, up 16.25% from last year. The percent jump was almost that big from 2017 to last fall (13 percent). The school is reporting a record retention rate for the 2018-19 freshman class too, at 87.6%.
