No injuries after van fire in west Columbia

A van catches fire at a west Columbia gas station.

ABC 17 reports the fire happened at around 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Gerbes gas station on West Broadway. Firefighters say the driver of the van saw smoke coming from the hood, then it caught fire. Fire crews quickly put out the flames before they spread to the pumps.

No one was hurt, but there was some damage to the awning.
