54 crash injures six

A St. Louis area man is charged with DWI and six counts of felony assault among other charges after a wreck southwest of Jefferson City. The Highway Patrol says 59-year-old James O’Brien of Creve Couer was drunk when his SUV ran off Highway 54 at the Route E intersection. The vehicle ran into car waiting to turn on to Route E. Four people in that vehicle and O’Brien’s wife and son were all injured…some seriously.
