columbia cops think they have their armed robber

Columbia police have a man in custody they say is involved in all five of the recent armed robberies from businesses. 31-year-old Jafari Boss arrested Wednesday night when he tried to rob a man at gunpoint near the Columbia Mall. Boss is charged with five counts of armed robbery and three counts of kidnapping. Police say Boss had help in some of the crimes. He’s no stranger to police. He was convicted of robbery and assault in 2011…but got out of prison on parole after two and a half years.
