four die in Lake area bridge crash

A dump truck driver from Warsaw and three members of an Illinois family are dead after a head-on crash on the Niangua Bridge Wednesday morning. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a tire blew on the dump truck being driven by 56 year old Randal Estes of Warsaw. The truck veered directly into the path of a pick up truck pulling a boat. 50-year old Terry Schroeder (SHRAY-der), 46-year- old Cindy Schroeder and 14 year old Dylan Schroeder of Benson Illinois all died in the pick up truck. 14 year old Donnie Schroeder was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries. Estes was also pronounced dead at the scene.
