some roadwork may jam up traffic around capital region med center

Jefferson City and Cole County are working together to try and clear traffic congestion in the area of Highway 54 and Stadium Boulevard. The public works departments are combining to come up with about 4 million dollars to put in a roundabout at Stadium and Jefferson…while widening the ramp onto Highway 54. Plans also call for either a new traffic light or a roundabout at Monroe and Christy by Capital Region Hospital.
