Luke Bryan’s Crash My Party climbs back into the top spot on the country album chart. The collection, which includes the No. 1 songs “Crash My Party,” “That’s My Kind of Night” and “Drink a Beer,” as well as his Top 10 hit “Play It Again,” sold 33,280 copies – an increase of 77.4% over last week.
The album is nearing double-platinum, having sold more than 1,803,000 copies. One of the ways Luke would define the success of Crash My Party is if it sells three or four million. However, he says, the main thing “is to continue to move the needle on the fans knowing that I’m upping my game constantly and coming with better songs and singing better than ever and fueling the live show in whatever is going to…grow into bigger and bigger and bigger venues constantly for as many years as I can.”
Luke, who’s climbing the country charts with “Play It Again,” is headed to play the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California on Sunday (April 27th), followed by a performance at the iHeartRadio Music Awards where he’s up for Country Song of the Year (“That’s My Kind of Night”). The show will air live from Los Angeles May 1st at 8pm ET on NBC.
