accused callaway killer appears in court

Scotty Willet appears by video in a Callaway County courtroom for a hearing in his murder case. Willet is the 27-year-old man who’s charged with the shooting death of six year old Dayne Hathman just outside of Fulton last week. Willet was babysitting the boy who had Downs’ Syndrome when the shooting occurred…and the boy’s body was found in Willet’s room in the trailer he shared with Hathman’s family. In court yesterday, Callaway County sheriff Dennis Crane said autopsy results found that Hathman had been shot twice. The court case against Willet continues on October 3^rd.
