The Grand Ole Opry is set to celebrate its 89th birthday on Oct. 10 & 11 with four weekend Opry shows in which country favorites will share the stage with the Opry’s birthday cake, plus a concert by Opry member Craig Morgan, backstage tours, free music on the Opry Plaza, and more.
Superstar group Lady Antebellum and Chris Janson are among those already confirmed for two shows Friday night, Oct. 10, while Trace Adkins, Keb’ Mo’ and Clare Bowen, star of ABC’s Nashville, are set for Opry performances during two shows the next night, Sat., Oct. 11.
Morgan will perform during a special Opry Birthday Concert at 3:00 p.m. Oct. 11. The Plaza in front of the Opry House will be bustling with food, fun, and a free music stage throughout the day, with Greg Bates scheduled to headline the stage beginning at 5 p.m. The full Birthday schedule will be updated at www.opry.com through the official Birthday weekend.
