man who runs from a cole county car stop is still running

Jefferson City police and Cole County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a man who got away from them after a traffic stop. 24-year-old Matt Haulenbeek is on the run. Police pulled him over Tuesday night on Rainbow Drive west of the Capital Mall on a possible drug violation. Haulenbeek didn’t wait around long…leading police on a chase that extended into Miller County. That’s where Haulenbeek bailed out of the car he was driving…and he hasn’t been seen since.
