a big hog waste spill in callaway county

The Department of Natural Resources is in the process of cleaning up a large manure fertilizer spill in Callaway County. DNR officials say the spill happened sometime over the weekend near Route j and County road 230. There’s a major hog operation in the area. DNR says about 10,000 gallons of the liquid fertilizer went into a creek that flows through the area.
