flooded road rescue in boone county

Don’t try to drive through moving water. That happened in Boone County yesterday where emergency crews worked to pull an S-U-V out of flood waters on Strawn Road north of Columbia. Two men inside the S-U-V were not hurt. It was the third water rescue in Boone County during yesterday’s downpours. Fire officials remind you to never drive over any roads with water over them…even if the lines are still visible.
