semi wreck closes ’54′ in jcmo

Highway 54 eastbound in Jefferson City shutdown in both directions near Missouri Boulevard Friday morning after a crash involving a semi-truck.

MoDot confirms the wreck was reported around 11:15 a.m. just west of the Missouri River bridge.

Officials expected the road to stay closed for about three hours. A westbound lane was also closed for cleanup.
