you might call missouri ‘shakytown’ today

Shake up your work day during the Great Shake Out earthquake drill today. Steve Besemer with the Missouri Department of Public Safety says the annual event is a good reminder for more than just  grade school students.

Besemer says students in 500 Missouri school districts will be practicing how to Drop, Cover, and Hold On. He suggests you take time to put together an emergency kit Thursday as well.
