holts summit man dies in crash

A Holts Summit man is dead after a crash on Highway 50 in Moniteau County Friday morning. 45-year-old Claude Jones’s car collided with a tractor trailer near California about 10-30 Friday morning. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tractor trailer suffered minor injuries. The Highway Patrol says Jones was not wearing a seatbelt.
