THE MO SUPREME COURT TAKES UP THE LARRY WELCH RELEASE

The Missouri Supreme Court is getting involved in the case of Larry Welch. The Russellville man is still behind bars despite a Cole County judge’s ruling that he should be set free. Welch was in jail for the 2007 drunk driving crash that killed two members of a Russellville family. Last month, he was ordered to be set free on time served…but the Supreme Court has issued a stay in the case. Yesterday it set April 22 for a hearing in the case.
