jcmo bank embezzler could face prison time

A former bank teller accused of embezzling more than 400-thousand dollars will fight the charges. 28 year old Katherine Brown pleaded not guilty to embezzling charges in district court in Jefferson City yesterday. Prosecutors say Brown took more than 400-thousand dollars from the vault at Hawthorne Bank between December of 2012 and September of 2014. Her trial is scheduled for May 4.
