A Cole County community’s finances are getting a closer look. Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway’s office announced Tuesday it will review Centertown’s books. At least 52 people in the village of less than 300 signed a petition to trigger the audit. This is the first state audit of Centertown. The whistleblower hotline is 800-347-8597.
