Timothy Kuratek/CBSReba McEntire is winning in more ways than one. Not only did she pick up the Best Roots Gospel Album trophy for Sing It Now at Sunday night’s Grammys, she also took advantage of the opportunity to introduce the world to her new man.
“My date is Skeeter,” Reba revealed to Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet. “Come here Skeeter! Skeeter Lasuzzo. He’s my boyfriend!”
“We’ve been having fun…” she added. “We’ve been to three plays here in New York, just enjoying it tremendously.”
If you’ve been keeping an eye on Reba’s socials, you may’ve noticed that Skeeter started appearing in the Country-Music-Hall-of-Famer’s photos toward the end of last year, though this seems to be the first time Reba’s publicly confirmed the relationship.
“We like to have fun, whether it’s in the mountains or in New York City,” she continued.
“I’m doing great,” Skeeter responded, when asked how he was making it on the red carpet. “Just following her, enjoying the night with her.”
Reba and her longtime manager Narvel Blackstock split in the summer of 2015, after 26 years of marriage.
