ABC/Image Group LA We haven’t seen much of Carrie Underwood since she suffered a nasty fall at her home last November, breaking her wrist and injuring her face such that she required 40 to 50 stitches. In fact, Carrie hasn’t shared an unobscured picture of herself at all since then, warning her fan club members at the first of the year that she might not look quite the same. Now we can judge for ourselves.
Wednesday morning, the American Idol winner shared a new, black-and-white photo of herself listening intently in the studio. Carrie wears a ripped, hooded sweatshirt in the picture, with her hair up. As for her face, she looks largely — if not exactly — the same.
Carrie’s currently working on her first album for Universal Nashville, after leaving her longtime home at Sony last year. So far, there’s no word on when we’ll get our first listen at new music.
