Accused murderer, illegal immigrant will not go to trial until next year

The trial for a Mexican immigrant accused of killing five people has been pushed back. Pablo Serrano-Vitorino’s trial will start on Oct. 7 of next year after a hearing was held Friday. As part of the trial, prosecutors will have to pay $40,000 for a mitigation specialist to travel to Mexico to investigate Serrano-Vitorino’s background.
