If you open the latest issue of People, you’ll spot a photo of Lauren Alaina and fiancee Alex Hopkins, along with an article about the pair’s recent engagement.

That’s just the latest major life event for the American Idol alum, who’s been busy crossing items off her bucket list faster than she can make a new one.

“My manager and I love to make goals,” Lauren explains. “We like to cross ’em off too. We’re big fans of that.”

“We haven’t made an official list in a long time…” she admits. “We’re so busy crossing off things on a pretend list…it’s kinda hard to sit down and do it.”

In 2017, Lauren scored two number-ones, first with “Road Less Traveled,” and then with Kane Brown on “What Ifs.” Earlier this summer, she picked up a CMT Music Award for the collaboration.  So what’s next on Lauren’s list of goals?

“I want to be a female headliner, whatever that means…” she points out. “I’ll play for fifteen people if it’s my show.”

Lauren just released both a lyric video and a new performance of “Three,” the fan favorite that chronicles the sacrifices you sometimes have to make in the music business.

And the Georgia native continues to dream.

“I want to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. That’s a big, big, big one for me,” Lauren confesses. “And I want to sell out the Ryman.”

“I just have a million different ones. But playing in front of 50,000 people’s pretty high up there, and I got to do that again,” she adds, referring to her performance at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium back in June.

You can tune into see Lauren’s CMA Fest appearance on Wednesday, August 8, when the annual special airs at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
