Fulton investigators are blaming a fire in the evening heat on…a portable space heater. The fire started in the basement of a home on Callaway Drive at about 5 p.m. Tuesday. It caused $40,000 in damage. Investigators say some combustible materials got too close to the space heater and caught fire. No one was hurt.
