Capitol NashvilleThis summer, Little Big Town’s on the Bandwagon Tour with Miranda Lambert, but unfortunately, thieves have helped themselves to a piece of the caravan.
The trek can roll on without a problem, however, because the culprits didn’t walk away with what they probably expected.
“To the guys that stole our trailer,” LBT tweeted. “Guess you thought you were getting vintage guitars and amps. Instead you got two kids bikes, 1 scooter, a baby pool and a unicorn float.”
“Karma’s a funny thing,” they added, along with the laugh-until-you-cry and unicorn emojos. LBT also included a picture of Kimberly Schlapman’s infant daughter Dolly climbing into the pool, and a photo of the blow-up unicorn.
The LBT kids are a big part of road life in the summer, of course: Dolly and her big sister, 11-year-old Daisy; Phillip Sweet’s 10-year-old daughter Penelopi; and Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook’s 8-year-old, Elijah.
While the CMA Vocal Group of the Year shops for some new toys for the little ones, the Bandwagon pulls into Tampa and West Palm Beach, Florida this weekend. It’s a perfect place to catch a case of “Summer Fever,” Little Big Town’s latest single that’s currently climbing the chart.
