Burke/Triolo Productions/ThinkstockDylan Scott is giving back to his hometown of Sterlington, Louisiana, with the inaugural Bayou Stock music festival on Nov. 17. Tickets to the festival go on sale Sept. 12 via the festival’s website and Dylan will serve as the headliner. Proceeds will benefit children in need in Northeast Louisiana during the holiday season.

Singer/songwriter Jon Langston is the first artist signed under Luke Bryan‘s new label, 32 Bridge Entertainment. The signing is a joint partnership between Luke and EMI Records Nashville.

“The ability to start a record label through my record label is such a dream come true for me. It allows me to see an artist like Jon Langston, trust my heart and sign him,” Luke says in a statement.

Luke adds that he’s been watching Jon and hearing about his fan following for awhile now, but more important than that is the singer’s love of making music. “He is in it for the right reasons – he loves making music, he loves the fans and he’s out there working his tail off.  I want him to blaze his own trail but if he’s having a bad day or he doesn’t know how an angle of the business works, I want to be there to give him advice or just go fishing,” Luke concedes.
