Aaron Watson enlists hit songwriters for 2019 Ryman Auditorium show

ABC/Image Group LAAaron Watson will return to Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium in 2019, and he’s bringing along several of his fellow Texan songwriting friends.

The Texas native will headline a concert on January 24 and his opening act will include a songwriter in-the-round showcase with Rodney Clawson, whose hits include George Strait‘s “I Saw God Today” and Jason Alsean‘s “Amarillo Sky.”  Also sharing the stage will be Liz Rose — writer of Little Big Town‘s “Girl Crush” and Taylor Swift‘s “Teardrops on My Guitar” — Tom Douglas, who wrote Miranda Lambert‘s hit “The House That Built Me” and Tim McGraw‘s “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s.” The three Texans have over 30 combined number-one hits between them.

Tickets for Aaron’s “A Night of Texas” concert at the Ryman start at $25 and can be purchased via the venue’s website

Aaron recently released his first holiday album and enlisted his family for the project. The 10-track project, An Aaron Watson Family Christmas, features guest vocals from the singer’s wife, Kimberly, and their three children JakeJack and Jolee Kate.
