Two Columbia city council races to be uncontested

The Columbia City Council won’t change much, if at all, after April’s elections. Incumbent councilmen Karl Skala and Ian Thomas did not have anyone file to challenge their re-election bids before Tuesday’s deadline. The only contested race will be for mayor, where incumbent Brian Treece will face former Columbia state rep Chris Kelly.
