NickelodeonWhich country artists do kids love these days? Judging from the nominations for this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, the answers are Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, and Florida Georgia Line.
Luke is up for the all-genre Favorite Male Artist, while his show American Idol gets a nod for Favorite Reality Show. Luke grabs another mention alongside Lionel Richie and Katy Perry in the Favorite TV Judges category as well. The second season of the show premieres Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
Meanwhile, Blake Shelton and The Voice compete for the Reality Show and Judges trophies too. Season sixteen of the NBC competition started earlier this week.
Both Dan + Shay and Kane Brown vie for Favorite Breakout Artist alongside rapper Cardi B, rapper/singer Post Malone, alt-rocker Billie Eilish, and rapper Juice WRLD.
“Always an honor to be nominated,” Dan + Shay tweeted, adding a shout-out to their fellow nominees.
Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha could take home the Favorite Collaboration honor for “Meant to Be” as well.
Voting is underway at KCA2019.com now. We’ll find out who wins when the Kids Choice Awards air Saturday, March 23 at 8 p.m. ET on Nickelodeon.
