ABC/Image Group LAIt’s a big week for Luke Bryan: He’s currently sitting at #1 on the country chart with the title track of his latest album, and he’s counting down to the premiere of the second season of American Idol on ABC.
“Thank you for making ‘What Makes You Country’ #1 at country radio,” Luke tweeted. “Grateful for the continued support from my fans and radio friends.”
“Always be proud of #What Makes You Country,” the Georgia native added. This is Luke’s twenty-second career #1 on the country chart.
On Wednesday morning, he’ll start day on ABC’s Good Morning America with his fellow Idol judges Lionel Richie and Katy Perry. You can tune in to watch for them during the 8 a.m. hour.
Then on Sunday, Idol’s second season kicks off at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
