Photo by John Shearer/Getty Images via ABCBlake Shelton spent his birthday on Tuesday in the Windy City, touring Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium, as his girlfriend Gwen Stefani revealed in an Instagram post.
“Happy b day to my favorite human!!! Can’t believe your [sic] mine,” she posted, adding the hashtag #GreatestGuyIKnow.
Gwen also included a collection of photos of the Oklahoma native, including some pictures from early in his career when he sported a mullet and regularly wore a cowboy hat.
The post also includes an adorable video where Blake bends down to let a seal kiss him on the cheek.
In Nashville, Blake’s Ole Red restaurant and bar even paid for a billboard that read, “Happy Birthday Blake, You Ole Dog,” to celebrate the singer’s 43rd year.
Next fall, Gwen and Blake will be together again on TV, as the new season of The Voice premieres Monday, September 23 on NBC. Kelly Clarkson and Jon Legend are set to return as coaches as well.
