A Belleville, Illinois man has drowned at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Highway Patrol says Stephen Malec, 67, suffered an unknown medical issue at about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday near the Big Niangua Arm of the lake and Breezy Point Drive. Someone else on the scene pulled Malec’s body from the water.
