Burke/Triolo Productions/ThinkstockJimmy Capps, legendary guitarist and member of the Grand Ole Opry and Musicians Hall of Fame, died this week at the age of 81. Capps played on some of country music’s most enduring songs, including George Jones’ “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” George Strait’s “Amarillo by Morning,” and Kenny Rogers’ “The Gambler.”

‘90s country hitmaker John Berry has re-recorded his 1977 tune “The Graduation Song” in honor of 2020 graduates. The new release’s video features fan-submitted images documenting how the class of 2020 is celebrating the milestone, despite the COVID-19 pandemic. 

A collection of stir-crazy country stars, including Pam TillisThe Gatlin BrothersCharlie Daniels and Ray Stevens, have come together for a tongue-in-cheek rendition of Willie Nelson’s “On the Road Again,” reconfigured for the COVID-19 quarantine.
