A man is in jail after an alleged assault at a Columbia hospital.
ABC 17 reports Cody Douglass, 38, was charged Tuesday with third-degree assault. He’s in jail without bond.
Police say they caught Douglass on video footage at University Hospital assaulting a nurse. The victim told police that Douglass grabbed her by the neck and hair, threw her to the ground and slammed her head several times. The victim says the attack was unprovoked.
