Columbia officials have unveiled a $12.7 million plan to improve busy Forum Boulevard between Chapel Hill and Woodrail.
Voters approved the project as part of the 2015 capital improvement sales tax extension measure. Planned improvements include widening Forum with an additional driving lane in each direction, along with building sidewalks and bike lanes. Construction is expected to begin in 2025.
