Riley Strain family orders second autopsy

The family of former MU student Riley Strain is searching for answers after learning that he was found dead without his wallet or the pants and cowboy boots he was wearing the night he disappeared. A family spokesperson also said the family was confused that there was no water found in Strain’s lungs. They have ordered a second autopsy from a private company in Nashville. After nearly two weeks of search efforts, Strain’s body was found in the Cumberland River on March 22, about 8 miles from downtown Nashville. He was last seen March 8 after leaving Luke Bryant’s bar. Strain, whose family is from Springfield, was in Nashville for a fraternity event. Police have maintained that foul play is not suspected. A public visitation and celebration of life is scheduled for today in Springfield.
