UPDATE: Westlake Ace Hardware to locate in south Columbia, where Big Lots is closing

Look for Westlake Ace Hardware to open its third Columbia location later this year in south Columbia.

939 the Eagle’s Mike Murphy, who publishes Comobuz, reports the new hardware store will be located in the Rock Bridge shopping center on Nifong, in the space where Big Lots will be closing.

Westlake Ace Hardware currently has two Columbia locations: one on the Business Loop and the other on Worley, near Joe Machens Ford. 939 the Eagle’s Murphy reports the new hardware store in the Rock Bridge shopping center is expected to open before year’s end. The 120-year-old hardware retailer is headquartered in Kansas City and operates about 160 stores in 12 states.

They’ve been in Columbia since 1960.
