jcmo emergency building will be renovated

Cole County’s Emergency Services building is in for a million dollar facelift. Cole County Commissioners vote to renovate part of the old N-H Scheppers beer distributorship where several emergency crews are based. The work will move the ambulance service to the front of the building. Cole County’s HazMat emergency response team is also based at the site on Southridge.

everyone is okay after a jefferson city fire

Everyone is okay after early morning apartment fire yesterday morning. Fire crews were called to the fire at a two story apartment at 505 Ellis Boulevard. No one was home at the time of the fire. The fire damaged the lower level apartment. Renters in other apartments were evacuated briefly, but no one was injured.
