This week’s Athlete of the Week is Jaiden Galbreath, Junior Running Back and Defensive Lineman for the North Callaway Thunderbirds.
The Thunderbirds rolled to a 56–0 Homecoming win over Mark Twain. He rushed for 144 yards on just 5 carries (a 28.8-yard average) with 3 touchdowns of 17, 29, and 80 yards, and added two 2-point conversions.
But Jaiden made his mark on defense too. From his DL/Nose Tackle position, he recorded 5 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery as North Callaway held the shutout.
Head Coach Kevin O’Neal said of Jaiden, “Jaiden is a great young man, team leader, and hard worker.”
